HG01-Handgun 1

HG01 has been re-designed to be more student-oriented particularly from an instructor-to-student ratio perspective during the shooting portion.

HG01 is designed to teach basic and intermediate shooters the fundamentals of safety, marksmanship and manipulation of the magazine-fed pistol or revolver. Through weapons manipulation and a progressive course of fire, students gain the confidence to not only safely handle, but to operate their weapon system in highly proficient manner; even under stress. This course meets and exceeds the training course requirements set forth by the State of Maine to apply for a Maine Concealed Firearms Permit.

This course is now taught in two segments; a group classroom portion "Part A" and an outdoor (March 15 - December 15) 200 round live-fire session "Part B".

Only Part A is required by the State of Maine to apply for a Maine Concealed Firearms Permit. Weaponcraft does not recommend taking a basic training class that does not include live-fire instruction. Parts A & B are recommended for all students and HG01 in it’s entirety meets and exceeds the training course requirements set forth by the States of Maine and Florida for concealed firearms permits.

How it works:

Sign up on-line for HG01 Part A .  After completing the classroom session you can sign up for Part B for your live-fire training session.
